I’m a writer, ELA teacher, lifelong reader, and storyteller who brings the classroom and the world into my writing. By day, I teach students to find their voices in essays and stories; by summer, I follow my own, traveling with my husband and two children to gather scenes, characters, and the small details that spark new novels and essays.
My work blends the curiosity of travel with a teacher’s eye for language and empathy. Whether I’m sketching a café conversation in Lisbon or tracing a family mystery through a coastal town, I write to explore human connection, place, and the surprising moments that change us.
